MADRID: Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino hopes Francisco Totti's farewell image from AS Roma (which accompanied the club since 24 years ago) may be a shot of encouragement for Harry Kane to emerge as a great individual at a club.
Early tomorrow morning, Tottenham will be in the forefront of Real Madrid in Champions League rivals Juve and Kane are linked with the European champion after a superb performance by netting 43 goals.
"He's quite emotional when he saw Totti's farewell at Roma, he also gave a special motivation for players to determine the true 'color' of Tottenham and also backers," said Pochettino.
"Most important is that he is happy at Tottenham and who knows where we will be tomorrow.We enjoy what we are going through now.
"He is a player who attended the academy and feels great with this club, for me he is a player so adored to score goals for Tottenham."
