JAKARTA - Polemic investment plan Hajj Finance Management Agency (BPKH) in land waqaf Aceh from Habib Bugak in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, still cause reaction from the people of Aceh.
Senator of DPD RI from Aceh, H Sudirman or Haji Uma, sent a letter to Nazir Baitul Asyi in Saudi Arabia.
"Letter numbered 40 / 20.2 / B-03 / III / 2018 sent Haji Uma on Tuesday, March 13, 2018," said Muhammad Daud, Staff Expert H Sudirman to Serambinews.com, in Banda Aceh, Tuesday (13/3/2018 ).
It is said that the letter written in English is addressed to Sheikh Abdul Lathief Muhammad Baltouw, as the Waqaf Leader of Aceh in Mecca with the address of Elaf Al Masyaer Hotel, 6571 Ajyad Street Mecca 24231, Saudi Arabia.
In the letter, the senator who sat on Committee II of DPD RI conveyed to Sheikh Abdul Lathief Muhammad Baltouw, that the investment plan of BPKH has caused rejection attitude from the people of Aceh, even to the present continue to be a polemic in the community.
"In addressing the current reaction of the Acehnese people to the issue, Haji Uma expressed his appreciation for the best effort that has been and is being done by Sheikh Abdul Lathief Muhammad Baltouw in managing the land of Waqaf Aceh in Mecca," said Muhammad Daud.
Hajj Uma also fully supports the consistency of the management of waqf by Nadhir Waqaf Al Asyi, as the contract of waqaf from Bughak which clearly gives benefits to Hajj pilgrims and pilgrims from Aceh.
Furthermore Haji Uma requested consideration to Sheikh Abdul Lathief Muhammad Baltouw to reject BPKH's plan and investment objectives against land waqaf Aceh in Mecca.
"From my inception, I personally disagreed with the management of Aceh's wakaf land in Arabic by BPKH in essence we want the best for the management of waqaf land and what is so far been very good", said Haji Uma.

In connection with the plan of the Haj Financial Management Agency (BPKH) of the Republic of Indonesia which plans to invest in the location of the land of Aceh Waqf Habib Bugha’ in Mecca of Saudi Arabia on behalf of one of a member of Regional Representative Council (Senator) of the republic of Indonesia elected from Aceh I would like to express my opinion and suggestion about the investment plan of the BPKH that has emerged reaction and rejection attitude from the people of Aceh, even to this day continue to be a polemic in the society.
In responding to the reaction of the people of Aceh currently related to the above matters, I appreciate all best efforts that done and still being done by you in managing the Aceh Waqf in Mecca. I also support fully that you and Nadhir Waqf Al Asyiy will consistently manage the Waqf as has been messaged by the letter of Waqf of Habib Bugha’ that clearly always give the benefits directly to the pilgrims of Aceh.
I also urge you to consider the objection and rejection of the plan of BPKH of the Republic of Indonesia to invest in the land of Aceh Waqf in Mecca.
