LONDON: When Mauricio Pochettino provoked doubts about his attacker's future, Harry Kane made it clear he was happy to stay with Tottenham Hotspur as the club began winning more championships.
Prior to this, Real Madrid's Zinedine Zidane praised Kane as an all-round player, but Manchester United also expressed interest in the 24-year-old player.
In 2016, Kane signed a five-and-a-half year contract with a salary of 100,000 pounds a week (RM542,151), a value that is considered simple compared to other world leading players.
"As I said, I need to continue improving and lasting better," said Kane. "We started to chase the championship and as this club continues what is being done now, I'm definitely excited."
Pochettino said Philippe Coutinho's move from Liverpool to Barcelona showed no space to guarantee a position and that situation needs to be taken care of.
"Harry is special," Pochettino said. "Because he is Tottenham's love, he will always be with this club.
"However, we need to look more wisely to take care of it, players need to choose where they want to be." You can not force players. " -AFP
