Real Madrid are reportedly keen on signing Kane in the summer
Sergio Aguero has given fellow striker Harry Kane the ultimate compliment by insisting that Tottenham's striker is good enough to play for Real Madrid.
The 24-year-old has been the subject of speculation in the Spanish media, who claim Real are interested in signing Kane after the forward outscored Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo in 2017.
Despite the links to the La Liga giants, Kane has previously stated he wants to spend the rest of his career at Spurs, but Aguero believes the England international has what it takes to succeed at Real.
Asked about the rumours connecting Kane with a move to Spain, Aguero told Spanish radio station Cadena Ser: "The truth is that players of this quality, I think they wouldn't have a problem playing for such an important club as Real Madrid is.
"I don't know what he is thinking but that's not my problem, it's his."
Aguero also addressed his own future and revealed that there remains uncertainty about what will happen after his contract expires in 2020 but says he is happy at City.

"I hope to see out my contract and I'll try to do my best from here until the end of the season, and after that we will see what happens with me," Aguero said.
"My plan is not to change clubs. The truth is I'm very happy here, but the club has the last word, they're the only ones who decide, because obviously the club is the one who makes the decisions, they are the ones who say you have to go or have to stay, so I'll respect whatever they tell me."
Aguero was on the scoresheet as City eased past Watford in the 3-1 win on Tuesday to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League to 15 points, but the club's record goalscorer revealed that he would rather win the Champions League this season.

He said: "The Premier League isn't decided yet, but we are in a position of great strength to win it.
"It's my seventh year here, I know a bit about the league and the most important thing is to win points in December, and we have done that very well.
"Now we have to keep it going in the matches that are left.
"I would prefer to win the Champions League over the league because it's something City haven't won yet."
