Chelsea signing Brazilian defender Emerson Palmieri of AS Roma on a four-and-a-half-year contract, according to club leaders, early this morning.
The 23-year-old all-purpose player is purchased at a price of STG17.6 million (RM97.19 million) once giving the caretaker Antonio Conte a choice to Marcos Alonso.
"I came here because Chelsea has a great history and it's my dream to be jockeying this army," Emerson said on an official website (www.chelseafc.com).
"English soccer ball has long been a part of my life since I was 15. He is a beautiful and more interesting fight for action," he said.
